BLESSINGS
story courtesy of Coast Electric
We all know friends and neighbors who have been hit hard by these tough economic times. As prices in the electric industry continue to rise, there are more Coast Electric members who are in need of assistance in paying their electric bills.
Share Your Blessings is an energy assistance program that allows Coast Electric members to round up their bill or donate any amount they choose to assist those in our community who cannot pay their power bill.
If you would like to donate, simply check the Share Your Blessings round up box on your bill, or add a one-time donation of any amount to your bill. You can also visit one of our offices or speak to a member service representative via 877-769-2372 to set up monthly round-up payments, make a recurring donation in the amount of your choice or make a one-time donation.
Those who prefer the round-up option will see their billed amount “round up” to the nearest whole dollar. Donations each month are less than a dollar and annual donations average only $6.
While $6 a year might not seem like a lot, imagine the difference we could make if even half of Coast Electric’s 79,000 members chose the round-up option!
We all need a little help from our neighbors from time
to time, and higher winter bills mean even more of our friends will need some assistance. This is a unique, secure way to help those in your community. All recipients are screened to ensure there is a verified need and 100 percent of Share Your Blessings donations go to help Coast Electric members. Collected donations are distributed through United Way participating partner, Catholic Social Services.
