AlphaCare Urgent Care is celebrating its fifth year of serving the Gulf Coast Community. While a lot has changed for AlphaCare, including an expansion to the Eastern Shore of Alabama with two new locations, the philosophy on how to provide health care has remained steadfast since day one.
“We know that if we just focus on doing
the best thing for each patient, and put every other consideration behind that, we will not only be successful, but we can hold our heads high in our community,” says Owner Dr. George Loukatos. “We know that our patient’s healthcare is one of the most important
things in their lives, and to entrust us with
that healthcare is an honor and a privilege.
I believe that everyone in our organization understands that and takes that privilege very seriously”.
Dr. Loukatos started AlphaCare with the vision of providing urgent health care to the Gulf Coast in a convenient, friendly, and cost- efficient manner. After nearly two decades of practice in the emergency department, he saw the opportunity to take his experience and lessons learned about the patient experience and create something different. AlphaCare Urgent Care, open 8 a.m.-8 p.m., 7 days
a week, provides urgent health care needs such as walk-in sick visits, injury care, sports physicals, and employee health, to name a few.
“Our first focus is making sure that we are hearing our patients and doing our best to meet their needs. I think the most valuable thing that any health care provider can do is just take a minute and listen. That is really what our patients want and will almost always lead you down the correct treatment path. “
