Dr. Avit “Frere” Gremillion is a Retina Specialist/ Ophthalmologist that treats sight-threatening diseases and conditions and has been practicing for 18 years. He cannot always give a patient 20/20 vision back, but can assist with decreasing progression of vision loss.
He was inspired to go into the medical field by his grandfather who specialized in general medicine
and was a surgeon. If you suffer from acute loss of vision, he recommends seeing your eye care specialist immediately.
He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retinal Specialist, and Mississippi Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. He is a proud parent of a daughter and a son.
