been, but there wasn’t a whole lot going on then, there was a video game in the future and that was about it. We operated for a few years with just that and I don’t know how we got by because there wasn’t a lot to talk about. In December, there will be another huge shift in the
Star Wars Universe when Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the ninth and final installment in the Skywalker saga, is released. The series began in 1977 with the release of Star Wars: A New Hope, George Lucas’ groundbreaking film that started it all. The Rise of Skywalker is the third sequel to the original trilogy, which also has a set of late 1990s and early 2000s prequels. It is the third film to be released by Disney. Director JJ Abrams, who directed 2014’s The Force Awakens will once again be behind the camera for the final Skywalker outing.
“I’m so excited about The Rise of Skywalker, because it sounds like Emperor Palpatine is laughing at the end of the trailer, which could change everything,” he said. “I can’t wait to see it. I’m going to fly out to Hollywood the day
it opens and see it at TLC Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard. Plus, Disney is launching its streaming
service this year with the live-action Star Wars show The Mandalorian, so we should be able to keep this going for a while.”
