Since 1997, Dr. Mace has utilized his extensive training and experience in Advanced
Laparoscopic Surgery and Breast Surgery to bring the best and most up-to-date treatment options to his patients on the Gulf Coast. Since helping start the Robotic Surgery program at Garden Park Hospital in April 2012, he was the rst and
remains the most experience surgeon on the Gulf Coast to perform Robotic Single Site Gallbladder Surgery using only one small incision in the belly button. He continues to be a leader in Robotic Surgery, offering Robotic Hernia Repair and Robotic Colon Surgery.
Dr. Mace also has a special interest in the treatment of breast disease
and breast cancer. He offers a
full spectrum of treatment options
to his patients, including Nipple Sparing Mastectomies with DIEP Flap Reconstruction, Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy, and BRAC testing. He continues to incorporate the newest innovations and procedures into his practice to provide “Big-City” care here on the Coast.
