NICHOLAS FAYARD, M.D.
GENERAL SURGERY
Dr. Fayard earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from Loyola University, Louisiana, in 2003.
In 2007, he received his medical degree from the Louisiana State University in New Orleans, LA. While completing his general surgery internship and residency at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS, he practiced as Chief Administrative Resident for two years. Upon completion of residency, Dr. Fayard joined South Mississippi Surgeons, PA in 2012. Dr.
Fayard is currently a member of both American Medical Association and American College of Surgeons. Dr. Fayard resides in Ocean Springs Mississippi. He is currently seeing patients in the SMS Biloxi and Ocean Springs of ces and practices general surgery at Merit Health Biloxi and Singing River Hospital of Ocean Springs.
JOHN HALL, M.D.
GENERAL AND BARIATRIC SURGERY
Dr. Hall is a board certi ed General Surgeon. He has completed additional fellowship training in minimally invasive surgery, bariatric surgery, and robotic surgery. He is certi ed by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and completed medical school and fellowship training in Minimally Invasive/Bariatric/Endoscopic/Robotic surgery at the University of Texas-Houston. He joined South Mississippi Surgeons in August of 2018.
Dr. Hall chose to practice bariatric medicine because it is preventative care rather than reactive. Rather than xing a problem that presents itself, bariatric care surgery aims to help people before they acquire an irreversible illness.
