Dr. Karen Crews is a professor emeritus from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, which is where Dr. Megan Blackman received her doctorate in dental medicine and certificate in advanced education in general dentistry in 2014. Both Dr. Crews and Dr. Blackman practice dentistry at Beach View Family Dental Clinic.
The commitment and work ethic of
the Beach View team are what inspire Crews and Blackman every day. “It is easy to focus on your patient family when you have the support of the people you work with every day,” said Dr. Crews.
Their workplace philosophy is centered around patient healthcare, which stresses the importance of achieving good oral health as part of overall health. “We believe that a healthy smile is your
greatest asset,” said Dr. Blackman. When not spending time at Beach
View, Dr. Crews enjoys spending time with her husband, Bill, her sons, Alex and Will, and her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Lee.
Dr. Blackman will marry her fiance, Kyle Pearson, an engineer at Ingalls Shipbuilding, in November and enjoys spending time with her dogs and cat.
