DR. BERNARD “BERNIE” KEENUM
came from humble beginnings in Moss
Point. His mother, a high school teacher
from Barcelona, Spain, and his father, a retired Navy veteran, expected a lot from
their son. After seeing the tremendous relief
a chiropractor was able to provide to his father, he was inspired to change others’
lives in the same way. With 18 years experience in chiropractic care on the Florida and Mississippi Gulf Coasts, Dr. Keenum opened Southern Regional Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Center in January of 2018 with a two fold mission: Love people and give them more than they expect.
Keenum explains, “It’s so important to change the stereotypical view of chiropractic care. Keeping the spine in alignment so that there is no nerve interference to any part of the body, which very often is not signaled by pain, is a critical key to health and feeling great for all ages. A perfect example is that most people don’t realize that corrective chiropractic adjustments can often prevent and even treat colic, earaches, bedwetting, ADHD, seizures, migraine headaches, digestive problems, sinus issues and the list goes on.”
At Southern Regional patients can expect great adjustments for all ages from newborns to the elderly and all of the traditional therapies found in the chiropractor’s repertoire. However, Southern Regional sets the bar with so much more such as private therapy bays,
