Hannah Levi, a junior golfer at D’Iberville High School, left her competition in the dust by shooting 65 – 68 for a two-day total score of 133 at Clear Creek Golf Club in Bovina, Miss. The long-hitting Levi, a Mississippi State commit, made the 5,000-yard course play short and generated many birdie opportunities.
This was the second year in a row that Levi won the girls Class III High School golf championship and set her sights on qualifying for this month’s U.S. Open.
Russ Bloom, PGA Professional at The Oaks Golf Club, has been Hannah’s golf instructor for several years and will caddy for her at the qualifier at The Legends Golf Club at Chateau Elan, located near Atlanta, Ga.
