Thrill seekers
paradise is closer
than you might think!
Just about 30 minutes north
of D’Iberville lies the lush scenery of Elevate Red Creek, a one-of-a-kind aerial adventure park that’s nestled into the beautiful South Mississippi landscape along the banks of Red Creek.
When you drive into the
park, you’ll immediately
notice the final zip line of
the Osprey course, which is Elevate’s most advanced aerial challenge course. In addition
to Osprey, there are two other courses that will challenge climbers: the Kingfisher and the Mockingbird. Kingfisher is an intermediate challenge with 14 obstacles that include 4 fun-
filled zip lines, while Mockingbird is ideal for young adventurers.
The Osprey course is the most challenging course of all, and is considered the next step after mastering the Kingfisher course. Osprey is an aggressive aerial challenge course consisting of 21
different obstacles, including hanging logs, rope bridges, swinging stairs, and two zip- lines over Red Creek. That second zip-line, the Mississippi Kite, is the longest zip in the
park and marks the
finish line for the course and will bring you right back to Elevate’s headquarters.
What makes Osprey so rigorous isn’t just the amount of challenges, but also the intensity of them. These obstacles aren’t for the faint of heart, and they’re sure to get you to try your hardest.
“There’s something that occurs oftentimes in these groups where people who have never met will start interacting with each other throughout the course, offering encouragement and advice to one another,” said T.J. Golson, who co- owns Elevate with partner Dusty Watts. “It’s amazing to see that sense of camaraderie that comes from the human spirit wanting to help others achieve a goal.”
For the folks at Elevate, that’s what it’s all about. “Our goal here is to elevate people’s minds, bodies and spirits, and to help them to understand that they can do this,” Golson said. While the course is a lot of fun, at the end of the day, there’s a great sense of accomplishment that comes along with it as well.
