Dr. Craig Anderson and staff are excited to announce that
Dr. Ben Schrock has joined the practice. South Mississippi Endodontics, started in 2009 by Anderson, provides high-quality endodontic (root canal) care with the goal of helping patients retain their natural dentition. Dr. Schrock and Dr. Anderson both utilize the most current technology, including the Dental Operating Microscope, Cone Beam Computed Tomography (Cone Beam CT) and Digital Imaging to provide minimally invasive care.
“Our mission is to provide optimal endodontic therapy in a calm, warm and friendly environment. This is done by treating patients as we would like to be treated, by delivering treatment with the most advanced technology available, and through our commitment to achieving the best possible outcome on every patient.,“ Anderson said.
A native of Hattiesburg, Anderson graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, and practiced as a general dentist for 7 years in Portland, Ore., and Birmingham, Ala. He received his graduate training at New York University. He maintains board eligible status with the American Board of
Endodontics and is actively pursuing Diplomate status. Dr. Anderson is an active member of the American
Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Mississippi Dental Association. He lectures routinely on the Gulf Coast and in the Southeast, and currently serves as an associate professor at the LSU School of Dentistry, Department of Endodontics.
Dr. Ben Schrock is a native of Vicksburg and graduate of
the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. He completed
a two-year General Practice Residency program at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C. For the next ve years, he practiced general dentistry in Winston-Salem while also serving as clinical assistant professor in the Department of Dentistry at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
He pursued specialty training in Endodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. He has begun the board certi cation process with the American Board of Endodontics and is currently an active member of the American Association of Endodontists.
