Broome’s Buffet & Catering
Broome’s opened its doors on June 7, 1961 in a one-story framed building “full of cracks so wide we put putty in them to keep out the cold,” says Mrs. Broome of their original location.
Decades later, a plentiful feast still awaits when you step through the doors of Broome’s Buffet, where you can experience the true taste of authentic Southern cooking. Their buffet features numerous veggies, starches, and proteins to select from. Whether you crave seafood or chicken, the team at Broome’s prides themselves on offering a selection of great dishes that are sure to please your palate. The buffet is open for lunch every weekday, and Broome’s is available to cater events big and small, from weddings to corporate events. Every Friday is seafood day.
In addition to the buffet and daily specials, Broome’s is especially well-known for their roast beef, fried and baked chicken, fried pork chops, pulled pork, stuffed fish, and the real star of the show: their caramel cream cheese cake!
