While I’m also a fan of the popular Ham and Brie on ciabatta and would never turn down the Powerhouse Salad, I was lucky enough to experience a popular special, Taranto’s Oyster BLT. Flour battered and crispy fried gulf oysters spill
out between layers of bacon, house remoulade, and brie. Yes, y’all. Brie. Along with lettuce and tomato, all of this goodness is nestled between two pieces of hearty, house- made sourdough making for a most epic sandwich.
Complete your meal with an EDL Cinnamon Roll. Sweet brioche dough is fermented for over 30 hours, then sprinkled with the perfect amount of cinnamon and sugar before being swirled and baked in its very own, individual cast iron skillet. Topped with the most amazing and decadent cream cheese icing, the EDL Cinnamon Roll might be one of the best you’ll find across the entire Gulf Coast.
