Introduces our NEW Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
Amanda Sterling, MSN, WHNP-BC, IBCLC
Amanda Clark Sterling is a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
After nearly 15 years of nursing, she returned to school to become
a women’s health nurse practitioner. In December 2021 she
graduated from the University of South Alabama and
passed her national board
exam the following
month. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau nursing
honor society,
Nurse
Practitioners in Women’s Health, Junior Auxiliary of Gulfport, and
South Mississippi Breastfeeding Coalition. She has been married to her husband, Beau, for almost 17 years and they have two children, Mackenzie and Tanner. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her family, doing volunteer work, traveling, and being outdoors.
As a women’s health nurse practitioner, Amanda will provide ambulatory care for women throughout the lifespan including adolescent health, well woman exams, breast cancer screening and problem evaluation, pap smears, HPV screening, health and wellness counseling, contraceptive care, STD screening and treatment, pregnancy testing, preconception care, prenatal visits, postpartum care, problems with menstruation, fertility evaluation, and, of course, lactation consults.
Amanda has recently joined Memorial Woman’s Clinic and will be seeing patients at the both the Biloxi and Gulfport locations. Please call to schedule an appointment today!
