“People,” that’s the reason David Krause and Michelle Baughman love working with realtors to close residential and commercial real estate deals. “Closing real estate sales is all about celebrating a life-changing event for people. We love being a part of such a huge experience.”

Law wasn’t Krause’s rst career choice. He was a mechanical engineer after graduating from Missis- sippi State University. He read an article about law in a newspaper while eating lunch at a chemical plant where he worked, which led to leaving an engi- neering career for a career in law after nishing Ave Maria School of Law in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Krause and Baughman feel an impact in their own lives from the clients they represent. “The buyers, sellers, and realtors who walk through the doors of Krause Title Company come from every walk of life. They come in as strangers who need a smooth clos- ing, and become our friends. So being able to work for friends is an amazing blessing,” they say.
They’re always available to discuss issues with clients, whether it’s a simple issue about a home or business, or how to handle a real estate issue. They believe it’s vitally important to help people through all aspects of life.

As for hobbies, Baughman likes to run, and Krause likes to try to run. “We both enjoy eating, and that’s why we have to run!” Krause said. “But the real
joy of having a career that you love is that the line between work and fun gets blurred.”
