Recognizing that excellence in any profession requires education, experience and e ort, attorney Stephen Burrow exempli es these three characteristics in abundance. A life-long resident of Jackson County, he graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and from Tulane University’s School of Law where he acquired a Juris Doctor Degree and a Certi cate in European Legal Practice.
While at Tulane, he served as the law school president, an extern clerk for a federal judge, as a senior member of the Tulane Journal of Interna- tional and Comparative Law and in the Tulane Inns of Court.
He began his litigation career at the rm currently known as Heidelberg Steinberger, P.A. in Pascagoula. He says that during the next 26 years
he rose from fresh-faced associate to a named partner. “I had the good fortune to represent many di erent clients, from Fortune 500 companies to individuals who had nowhere else to turn,” he said. “Regardless, I used my talents and drive to work for each and every client.”
In 2017, Burrow’s life and career changed dramatically when he was elected to the Pascagoula City Council. He left the friends and colleagues with whom he had worked for 26 years and went out on his own.
