Cynthia Carter Dubrow
Cynthia Carter Dubrow calls the Mississippi Gulf Coast home; however, prior to establishing roots in Biloxi, Mississippi, she had the privilege to travel the country as the wife of a service member. Born and raised in the South, Dubrow says it was her Southern upbringing that led to her decision to move to Biloxi to raise her children.
Inspired by her mother, who was a practicing attorney, Dubrow decided to pursue the same career. “Watching my mother for the rst time in a trial was a game changer for me,” she recalled. “She mesmerized me and everyone watching her! The funny part is, she knew it and commanded the room! Powerful!”
What she loves most about her job? “Working with one of
my best friends in the world and knowing that we are making a di erence for children on the Mississippi Gulf Coast,” she says.
Dubrow says that her two children are the joys of her life, but her career in law is an added bonus.
Kelly Pendergrass Hunter
Born and raised in Jackson County, Kelly Pendergrass Hunter was raised by strong parents who taught her to do something in life that makes a di erence. “They instilled in me the importance of doing something you love and that makes the world a better place, even if it was just a small corner of the world,” Hunter said.
Now as a practicing attorney for twenty years, what Hunter enjoys most is making an impact on someone’s life. “People who need my services are generally going through the most stressful and traumatic time of their lives,” she says. “It’s important to me for them to know that someone is standing beside them.”
The mother of two says that her sons, River and Baylor, are her biggest successes. “Daily, they are my motivation to be better as a person and an attorney.”
