Through the join efforts of the Golf Association and Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast, golf opportunities across the Coast are more accessible. The two groups joined together to streamline their marketing efforts and their campaign has amped up tourism in a big way.
“This partnership has allowed us
to more efficiently market golf on
the Coast by pooling the resources of multiple organizations, including golf and hotel partners who benefit from being affiliated,” said Russ Bloom, president of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Golf Association. “These partners include golf destinations and local hotels who can come together to create golf vacation packages.”
The association’s new website
was recently launched, which
offers visitors an insider’s guide
to Mississippi Gulf Coast golf. The website is easy to navigate and packed full of useful information. The site also offers golfers the best prices available through their golf packages.
“Golfcoast.com is embedded as the golf page within the Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast website,” Bloom said. “They also host the Golf Association call center that supports callers as they book their packages and start planning their visits.”
