Starfish Cafè in Bay St. Louis is another great experiential learning
program offering 20-week courses for students between the ages of 18 and 30. According to their website, their motto is to make a difference in the lives of those recovering from the hardships of life and to provide experiential education in life with skills preparing them for success.
Some of their courses include preparing meals from scratch, serving and waiting tables, life coaching, anger management classes, writing workshops, financial literacy, and other lessons offered by community members.
