Redd Pest Solutions of Gulfport won two prestigious awards at the 2017 Mississippi Pest Control Association annual meeting in Jackson. General Manager Mike Craft, a 40-year employee, was inducted into the Hall of Fame and Charles Necaise, a 28-year employee, received the Technician of the Year award.
Company President Gordon Redd presented the awards to the winners. “Congratulations to these outstanding employees,” he said. “We recognize their contributions to the company and it’s good to see them receive statewide recognition for their longevity and good work.”
Redd Pest Solutions began more than 60 years ago in 1952 and is now run by the third generation. Redd service technicians are required to become registered technicians before they are delegated service responsibilities. Weekly, each technician participates in an ongoing training program specially designed by the management team.
“Training programs are an important part of what we do,” Gordon Redd added. “It’s an ongoing team effort and Mike Craft and Charles Necaise are integral members of the team.”
