We present a full magazine this month with lots to amuse, entertain and inform. The special section is an expanded Dining section. Who doesn’t enjoy dining in the abundance of outstanding restaurants within the three coastal counties? I’m sometimes asked to name my favorite Coast restaurant. That’s impossible to answer because it depends on what I’m in the mood to eat, or what atmosphere I want, or if I want to go to a neighborhood place or drive to the next town. If there’s one thing we have in this area, it’s variety. Diners can find whatever their taste buds are craving.
There are restaurant profiles in this special section, along with stories about the overall restaurant scene, culinary teaching schools and restaurants in historic homes; yummy summer time recipes, and more.
Always brimming over, Coast Notes is full this month with Notes that run the gamut with announcements about fundraisers, individual accomplishments and community news.
There’s a real ‘feel good’ fishing piece by Frank Willem who writes about the inaugural Kidz Outdoors Mississippi Bass Tournament in the Sports & Outdoors section. Plus there’s information about the new additions underway at the Gulfport Sportsplex.
Looking for some exciting fun? Read about Elevate Red Creek in the Leisure section. And, we present some travel tips if your summer plans include traveling by air.
A virtual walking encyclopedia about Biloxi, Walter Blessey, IV takes us on a sentimental journey with his memories of rock and roll bands of 50 years ago in the Living History section.
Congratulations to the 2016 Top Producers among members of the Gulf Coast Realtors Association. We shine the spotlight on them in their own special section. There’s also a story by Susan Ruddiman about the way technology is changing how houses can be bought and sold.
Speaking of houses, this month’s feature home is a real spiffy cottage in Old Town Bay St. Louis, a place that has an abundance of charming homes.
