and now under new ownership. “The Cottage Memory Care at
Bay Cove is Biloxi’s premier memory care-exclusive community, providing a beautiful, comfortable environment that has offered state- of-the-art amenities and services
to residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia since March of 2013,” says owner and operator David Schonberg.
The Cottage features 31 spacious private and semi-private suites, a tranquility room, a hobby room, a sunroom, and a therapeutic garden. When asked how he defines a nourishing space for someone with Alzheimer’s/dementia, Schonberg responded, “It’s an environment built around their needs, their cognitive levels, and their dignity.”
