The Gulf Coast is home to thousands of local residents, but it’s also one of the peak tourism locations in the state. Each year, the area welcomes tourists, newcomers and visitors to enjoy everything to the fullest. Though many residents have called this place home for years, they may not have had the opportunity to explore South Mississippi with
the fresh eyes of a visitor. This month and summer, you’re invited to experience the Gulf Coast and explore the wealth of Staycation opportunities available to locals.
Rediscover the Gulf Coast with Discover South Mississippi! Newly redesigned around the foundation of See South
Mississippi, Discover features the most comprehensive guide to South Mississippi
dining, attractions and more. Through a joint venture between M2 Media Corp. and the
Mississippi Gulf Coast Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), Discover South
Mississippi serves as the region’s newcomers and visitors guide. This quarterly publication is available for use by the CVB as the agency’s
fulfillment magazine, as well as being found at many local businesses, tourism hotspots and
hotels across the Coast. Discover is also available to read online at www.discoversouthms.com.
Though Discover is a great tool for promoting tourism in the area, it is equally valuable to Gulf
Coast residents as an entertainment guide. Each issue features a complete directory for enjoying
every facet of the South Mississippi lifestyle, from dining, attractions, casino entertainment
