Crafty Catfish Tormented Young Anglers for Years
Growing up before video games and other time-robbing electronic recreation, youngsters made our own entertainment by roaming the fields and forests near our homes.
Frequently, we explored ditches and creeks, hoping to discover new fishing holes. Most were little more than wide spots in canals or drainage ditches, but to us, each represented a heavenly oasis of freedom from chores, nagging mothers, cleanliness, homework, responsibility, girls and everything else we despised at that young age.
