of his class at East Central High School, Jimmil
C. Taylor has strived to challenge himself through advanced courses all while shining on numerous athletic teams.
He received the Best Defensive Player Award

As a proud Lebanese American high school student, Gabrielle Rizk has been laying the groundwork for a pre-med path for years, but a public policy experience she recently had left her wanting to slightly alter her projected course.
Now, the St. Patrick Catholic High School senior has even bigger career plans that she plans to implement everywhere she goes in the future.
“I’m still planning
to major in biology
with a pre-med
track, however, after my hands-on public policy experience
in Washington, D.C., I hope to combine my two passions
of science and policy to assist in reforming the healthcare system,” she said. “I am a tenacious, passionate, and ambitious student. As a lifelong Gulfport resident, I hold community service and hospitality very dear to my heart, and I hope to bring that value with me wherever I go.”
She has a myriad of volunteer hours including medical shadowing and countless academic awards, leadership program honors, and organization recognitions. She’s also on the cheer team, competition cheer team, and tennis team.
participated in various clubs and organizations and was selected to attend Boy’s State, where he was voted to represent the state of Mississippi at Boy’s Nation in Washington, D.C.
His peers voted him Class President, Class Favorite, and Most Likely to Become President. In his spare time, he completed community service through his church and worked as an assistant at Alwyn H. Luckey Law Office and as the Coast Youth Campaign Manager for the Delbert Hosemann Campaign.
He plans to attend Howard University in the fall with a political science major. His career dream is to practice law.
