a performing arts center located in the community and approving the building of the center, and the current Board of Trustees for their continued support as the center goes through the nal phase before opening.
“This construction project was a huge undertaking for our school district so I really appreciate both of these school boards for their vision and commitment to making this center a reality and to the arts strategic planning committee led by Laura Hubbard for their continued push to see this center come to fruition,” Rodol ch said. “The Pascagoula High School Performing Arts Center is an excellent example of truly making a positive di erence in the lives of children and adults alike for the cities of Pascagoula and Gautier and all of South Mississippi.”
From Start to Finish
Wharton-Smith, Inc. Construction Group has been working diligently on the Performing Arts Center for
the past 19 months and is now down to the nal details
on preparing the center to open. Brad Bellman, Project Executive for Wharton-Smith’s Gulf Coast Division based out of Gulfport, has been conducting all activities between the architects Ryan Florreich, JBHM Architects, PA, the Wharton-Smith subcontractors, and the owner.
“This center is fantastic and our work here aligns with Wharton-Smith’s commitment to improve the quality of life within the communities in which we work and live,” Bellman
said.
Project Manager Kevin Plash has been on site every day and has watched the building rise from the ground up. “I am very proud of this facility and the work we have done on it,” Plash said. “It’s going to be a wonderful place for children, and it’s been great working with the Pascagoula-Gautier School District. It is a beautiful design, a beautiful building, and I really think people are going to love attending events here.”
