March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month
Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States, but it doesn’t have to be. Screening helps prevent colon cancer by finding and removing polyps (pre-cancerous growths) before they can turn into cancer. More than 90% of colon cancer occurs in people age 45 or older.
