If the calendar has rolled over to the month of March, spring is on its way — always a welcome event.
We salute spring with our annual Home & Garden special section. It’s full of features and sponsor profiles to get your juices flowing for home and landscaping rejuvenation.
There are tips on getting better organized, easy do-it-yourself decorating trends and making sure your landscape is safe for pets. Additionally, there’s a piece about the increasing demand for ring doorbell security, buying versus building, and information about this month’s home show and spring pilgrimage. A story about Martha Clippinger salutes this
lady for her years of dedication to gardening to make the Coast more attractive.
In tandem with Home & Garden, we have a Real People of Real Estate section for the first time. Profiles of these professionals give us glimpses of the movers and shakers and what they do.

People section and has some nostalgic photos of the early days.
The Arts story outlines a public mural in Pascagoula painted by retired teacher Mary Bet Evans who says the design was inspired by her love for the city. Her family members pitched in to make the large mural a reality.
In Sports & Outdoors we preview the Rapiscan Systems Classic golf tournament, go along (vicariously) on some deep sea dives and follow
the career of former Harrison Central baseball player Bobby Bradley as he moves toward the major league.
The Healthy Living section always covers topics of importance. In addition to the weight loss story, we have pieces this month about getting a good night’s sleep and the seriousness of staph infections.
