arch is an exciting month at It’s All Arranged in Ocean Springs when the shop’s very own paint color, Courvoisier, arrives and is expected to be a standout. The shop, which opened in 2011, was ranked second in the nation in sales of Maison Blanche Paint for 2017 after being in the top 10 for several years.
“We’ve sold a lot of paint a female entrepreneur, part and are a premiere dealer. As of the company’s mission
Vossie made days brighter for people of all ages.
number two in the country, we were awarded a custom paint color of our choice. It is named “Courvoisier” after my late golden retriever, Vossie,” says shop owner Traci James. “She was a store mascot in a way... always greeted the customers, chased across the showroom floor... a very beautiful dog with a great disposition.”
James describes Courvoisier
as sort of a brandy, tannish, golden color that will be a good natural to mix and match with other colors. She believes the paint line is popular because it’s creamy and requires no sanding, priming or prepping. “It’s used a lot for kitchen and bathroom cabinets and furniture,” she added. “People of all ages use it. For some it’s a hobby; for others it’s a way to re-furbish an old piece of furniture and make it serviceable again or to make it more their style.”
Maison Blanche Paint Company owner Annie Hoffman Omar notes that as
is to support and celebrate female business owners and entrepreneurs. “Partnering with an accomplished and respected professional such as Traci,
who exemplifies what we at Maison Blanch seek to embody — warmth, elegance and grace, was a natural evolution for the brand,” she said. “Like Traci, the color Courvoisier has a richness and timelessness to it that is eternal.
“We at Maison Blanche strive
to enrich and brighten the lives of our customers in the same manner Traci enriches and brightens the lives of so many people in her community. We truly feel honored and privileged to have Traci as one of our esteemed brand ambassadors.”
James’ dog, Vossie, was trained as a therapy pet with Visiting Pet Teams of South Mississippi and PAWS program with Singing River Hospital. “This paint color is a fabulous way to honor my fur baby who is no longer with us,” she said.
A trained pet therapy dog, Vossie visited with patients at Singing River Hospital.
