If you were serving in the military
and were deploying to a far away place where your chances of getting a great cheese burger were slim, where would you go for your last splurge? Navy Builder Second Class (BU2) Brian Fenton is leaving for an overseas assignment in a few days, and his choice for a great burger was the new Mugshots in Biloxi. I joined Brian and his wife, Leslie, for lunch and a serious look at what Mugshots can do with the all-American burger. Let me tell you, what a time we had.
The old Mugshots on Eisenhower Drive has closed, and a new, and much improved vision, has opened on Main
Street in Biloxi. It’s in a part of town that seems on the verge of exploding. New restaurants are opening, the walkover bridge from casinos to the north side of Highway 90 seems about to come true, and two new hotels north of the highway are about to open.
The new Biloxi location is a great burger place, but it’s also a sports bar extraordinaire. It has dozens of big screen TVs, plus a sports ticker that runs the length of the bar so you can keep up with all the news.
Take a look at the menu, and you might want to start with an order of wings or a salad. We tried the Honey Hot Wings and a Shrimp Caesar’s
