March Madness is here and the madness is not just for basketball lovers. For buyers and sellers, this signifies a great time to consider listing your house or buying a new one. As March is also the official start of Spring, this time
of year has traditionally been
considered to be a prime time
for the housing market to move
into full swing.
2017 has started out as an extremely active year for
sales of both residential and commercial properties. If
you ask a REALTOR® how
the market is doing, they are almost sure to say it’s great. All housing statistics indicate that property closings are at a much higher percentage than at this same time in 2016.
New communities are breaking ground and developers are looking for land to develop
even more. Builders are saying that new home sales have picked up and they are seeing more buyers in the market for a new home.
Existing home sales continue to flourish and a number of sellers have found
they are being presented with multiple offers on the sale of their home.
Commercial sales and leasing are also active, especially income producing properties.
With the beautiful weather we experience here on the MS Gulf Coast and all of the amenities we have to offer, March is the perfect time to show off to those who might be considering a move here. Take advantage
