JOINS M2 MEDIA CORP. TEAM
story by Lynn Lofton photo by Michael Sunderman
Kelsey Sunderman has joined the M2 Media Corp. team as an account executive, working with clients in Gautier, Pascagoula and Moss Point. She assumes the position after serving as sales manager of Hampton Inn & Suites in historic downtown Mobile, Ala.
“That job was definitely interesting,” she said. “I’m a relationship
builder — that’s
the part of the
hospitality
industry I’ve been
focusing on. I
like working with
clients to develop
ideas and help
them build their
businesses.”
Sunderman, 24,
is a graduate of
the University
of Southern
Mississippi where
she had a double
major in hotel,
restaurant and tourism management and graphic design. She was in the university’s Honors College, served in the senate for the College of Business, was membership/education vice president for Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, and won the Academic Excellence Award for Tourism.
She also did a five month internship at Disney World. “That was such a great experience; it made me change my major to include hotel, restaurant and tourism management. I liked making magic!” she said.
On October 22 Sunderman will marry Aubrey Foster of Mobile.

FUNDRAISER FOR THE SALVATION ARMY KROC CENTER
The Salvation Army Kroc Center will present restaurants and chefs of the Mississippi Gulf Coast on March 10, 5:30 to 8 p.m., during Taste of South Mississippi. The event will feature music, a silent auction, fun, and tasty foods.
Each year, restaurants get their names and a taste of their menus out to the community. People can come to one place to sample the food of many local restaurants.
Tickets to the event are $30 per person and may be purchased at the Kroc Center or online at www. krocmscoast.org under the Events tab. Play Care — limited to the first 30 children — will be open and serving Happy Meals donated by Gregg Descher of McDonalds.
Taste of South Mississippi is a fundraiser for The Salvation Army Kroc Center with proceeds going to the Kroc Center’s youth programs and scholarship fund. The scholarship fund helps parents who may not be able to afford for their children to participate in classes or activities.
The Kroc Center provides programs and services that encourage positive living and offers life- changing experiences for children and adults.
It strengthens families and enriches the lives of seniors.
