Olivia Brown Talks About Her Passion for Love, Fashion, and Travel

There is no lack of love and passion
in Olivia Brown’s life these days.
From a whirlwind marriage proposal abroad to owning the sauciest boutique in downtown Ocean Springs, the entrepreneur and animal enthusiast believes if you work hard enough, every goal is within grasp. And each day she challenges herself to dream big and live life without confinement.
“I just want to be happy in mind, body, and spirit,” Brown said. “I want to create a life that is so beautiful, I couldn’t have imagined it any other way.”
Her fiancé, Adam Pham, shares her business ideals, desire to travel, and tenderness for their fur babies, Tiger, Basil, Clicquot, and Dior.
“Adam is my twin flame, my yin to my yang, my best friend, and the most supportive person I have in my life,” she said. “Adam has been my rock over the years, my constant, and the person helping my creative mind stay focused. I am so grateful that I have such a supportive partner who truly wants the best for not only me but for our future together.”
The pair met one night while enjoying downtown Ocean Springs and Pham eventually asked Brown out on a date. “I had no idea I was even into him,” she said. “We ended up having the most magical night, he took me to dinner at a very nice restaurant, and wined and dined me. I had never been entertained so lavishly.”
Their birthdays are only three days apart and in March 2022, Pham planned a special celebration for the two of them – in Italy. “It was my dream trip,” she said. “I was overjoyed. Little did I know he had planned a proposal.”
The trip began in Rome where the couple visited numerous trattorias to sample amazing food and wines. They explored historical sights and made their way to Positano. “This was the actual specific spot in Italy that I had been most excited about visiting,” she said. “Positano is the most spectacular little place nestled on the cliffs of the Mediterranean, it is so romantic.”
They made their way down to the beach and before she even realized what was happening, Pham kneeled on one
knee and asked her to marry him. “I was overjoyed with so much emotion,” she said. “He crafted the most amazing ring and it’s a beautiful symbol of our everlasting love for each other. I couldn’t have asked for more romantic scenery, my dream trip with a dream proposal.”
Back at home in Ocean Springs, the couple is planning a wedding, playing with their pups, spending time with family and close friends, and running their businesses. You’ll find Brown and Dior at La Sauce Style in Ocean Springs and Pham is the owner of Ginkgo Liquor & Wine, also in Ocean Springs.
Brown said despite her love for traveling, there’s no place she’d rather be each day than at La Sauce Style. “I get to help women see their true beauty and how to help enhance it for better self- confidence every day,” she said. “I try to keep their focus on their attributes that make them individually beautiful.”
The quote Brown lives by and uses to encourage her customers is from the one and only Coco Chanel, “Strut it out. Every day is a fashion show and the world is your runway.”
