Hey Y’all! Nicole here, your Gulf Coast Gal! There are a ton of exciting things to do on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and I’ve gathered some of my top places to visit for the adventure lover or thrill seeker in your life. These also make perfect date ideas too!
ZipNFun
Adjacent to a fan favorite of Gulf Islands Water Park, ZipNFun is in Gulfport and offers people some time in the tree lines on three courses. They have courses for different skill levels and ages and it sure makes for a fun day in nature. The rush of the heights or trying to cross one of the bridges – there is nothing like it!
Mississippi Aviation Heritage Museum
I know this might not scream adventure right away, but one visit to the Mississippi Aviation Heritage Museum will definitely inspire you to take to the sky! It’s such a fascinating place full of history and so many exhibits that you can touch and interact with. If you’re not
one for air travel, you will at least catch the bug for adventure after learning about
all of the explorers.
Gulf Coast Gator Ranch
A pretty unique attraction to the South is a gator ranch, and there is one just over in Moss Point. Whether you’re game for an airboat ride around the swamps or ready to hold a gator, this place is tons of fun and a great thrill for sure!
North Star Sailing Charters
There isn’t much more thrilling than cruising along the Gulf with the wind in your sails and the cool breeze in your hair. Take a trip around the Mississippi Sound with North Star Sailing Charters and their 40-foot Catalina Sailboat. It’s a very #coastaladventure that you’re sure to not forget!
FinishLine Performance Karting
Get ready to race your friends around the track in this state of the art go-cart experience! Dashing around corners is definitely such an adrenaline rush. A special coastal element is that you get a beach view while zooming around.
