A wedding cake from Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort bakery will literally sweeten an already perfect day for the newly married couple.
Who wouldn’t want a cake made in the kitchen of an award-winning pastry chef? Chef Wendy Bosarge won first place in the Chefs
of the Coast Cake Decoration category and Best Dessert at Feeding the Gulf Coast. In the Feeding the Gulf Coast competition, Bosarge served as sous chef on the team led by Chef B.J. Creswell that won the people’s choice award along with a golden ticket to the World Food Championships.
During the initial appointment with Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort bakers, couples are asked
to taste the samples and give ideas of what their perfect wedding cake should look like.
“We are fortunate to have one of the best creative bakery teams here in the Gulf
Coast area, so any variation is a delight to accommodate,” said Rita Blenman Green, Group Sales Manager. “When we create
exactly what the bride and groom envisioned, it instantly becomes a product we are proud of.”
The delicacies made by the Scarlet Pearl bakery are offered throughout the property. These include at Lounge Nocherie, Scarlet’s Steaks & Seafood and Waterfront Buffet. There also are cakes and pies available for sale at Scarlet’s Treasures Gift Shop.
