News 25 Today’s new morning anchor, Victoria Bailey, arrives on the Gulf Coast from Sylacauga, Alabama. Victoria is a two-time graduate of Troy University with a Bachelor’s Degree
in Broadcast Journalism and a Masters in Strategic Communication. She started her journalism career in 2015
as a producer for a CBS Affiliate in Dothan, Alabama. She then moved to WCBI News in Columbus, Mississippi in 2016 where she worked as a reporter and anchor. Victoria loves to travel, is learning to cook, and enjoys reading as well as spending time with her family, friends, and meeting new people.
Evening Reporter Andrew
Scherer comes to the Gulf Coast from Mandeville, Louisiana. He grew up
a diehard sports fan, turning that passion into an interest in television. Andrew graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University where he was
a reporter and anchor for the award- winning student sports show “The Big Game” and “Northshore News.” He also hosted his own radio show
at Delgado Community College
and covered high school sports for NOLA.com. When he’s not reporting, he enjoys spending time with his daughter, Mia, and works on his goal of traveling to every MLB Stadium (he’s visited 22 already).

Midwest. She spent the last year
and a half as an anchor and reporter in northern Michigan, but calls Columbus, Ohio, her home. Kristen Graduated from Kent State University in 2017. During her time at Kent she worked at TV2, the student run news station and had the opportunity to travel the country covering the most
recent presidential election. In her free time, Kristen loves volunteering at local animal shelters and hanging out with her newly-wed husband Avery. If you see Kristen out and about, don’t be afraid to say “hello!” She loves to chat with new people and has never met a stranger.
