“Ruching is kind to every body type,” says Wanda Gatlin, the owner.
“We don’t say there’s any certain color that’s the year’s trend because each wedding has its own color theme.”
A wide variety of fabrics, ranging from taffeta to tulle and silks to chiffon are available. “Jersey has become incredibly popular,” Gatlin adds. “That’s
largely because it’s so comfortable.”
Beauty doesn’t have to be sacrificed, however. Many of the jersey
evening dresses are embellished with lace, beads, sequins, or crystals.
For winter weddings, ladies may want a chic coverup to ward off the chill. Gatlin’s carries a range of stylish items, such as
an off-white rabbit and knit bolero, as well as bridal capes, stoles and shrugs.
