M2 Media Corp introduces new logo

Mary and I moved to Mississippi in 1994 from Nevada, starting Jackpot! to service the state’s new gaming industry. With strong industry support, Jackpot! grew into the largest guide to gaming and fun in the Southeast with an annual readership of five million.
Today, we also publish Mississippi/Louisiana Gaming News, the official newsmagazine for the Mississippi Gaming & Hospitality Association and the Louisiana Casino Association.
In December 2006, we debuted South Mississippi Living, which quickly grew into the region’s largest and most popular lifestyle magazine. Each month, we reach nearly 70,000 readers with our print and online editions.
Last December, we published our first issue of Discover South Mississippi, designed to be the region’s largest and most complete visitors and newcomers guide. We are honored to be working with our regional tourism leaders, and Discover will be the fulfillment magazine for all tourism and travel inquiries.
Our company also publishes numerous niche publications, including the official Peter Anderson Festival Guide, the Ocean Springs Shopping Guide and other specialty publications for regional businesses and organizations.
We are equally proud to have donated more than $600,000 in cash and media support to numerous charities to help their events bring in bigger crowds and raise more funds.
Also, we’re thankful to have an incredible group of talented editors, writers, photographers, designers, advertising consultants, managers and distributors who take great pride in producing top-quality magazines.
To mark this growth, we’ve created a new logo for our company, M2 Media Corp. I sketched out a few rough ideas then enlisted the creativity of our designers. I also reached out to a talented designer in Ohio, Robert “Bobby” Blosser. During my high school and college years, Bobby lived a few houses down from my parents. He would come over and watch me work on my design assignments. Years later, he wrote to say those days spent with me inspired him to become a graphic designer. I took Bobby’s designs and the work of our designers and merged the best elements to create our new logo. Just like the way we design and create our magazines, it was a team effort.
M2 Media Corp., under the banner of the new logo, will continue to publish top-quality regional magazines with the commitment to serve the Mississippi Gulf Coast as a positive voice and ambassador promoting all we have to offer locals and visitors.
