TIPS

the bottom at times.
Another tip is to have an extra
pole rigged with a jig of live bait suspended beneath a popping cork. Or have an extra pole rigged with a slow-sinking jig when fishing late morning or in the afternoon. If the sun and surface temperatures rise, look for fish to slowly begin feeding along the banks. Like predators, baitfish are dealing with low metabolism levels during this time of the year, and trout and reds are aware of this. Anything out of the ordinary will not be as productive.
