of almost any sort, and I have a special love of Thai style stir fried noodles, so I went there next. Don’t think crispy fried but noodles tossed in a smoking hot wok, with crunchy veggies, Thai style herbs and spices, like kaffir lime leaf, and other goodies. This is comfort food of the first order. Also make sure to look at Chef Ning’s house specials (red duck curry!). If you want to impress the Thai staff, remember that Thais eat with a spoon
in the right hand, and a fork in the left. The fork is used to help push food on to the spoon, and is never used as the main utensil.
Basil’s Café is on Beatline Road in Long Beach, but I made it from Biloxi in less than 30 minutes. It may be just a bit off the beaten path, but it’s well worth the drive. Put this one on the top of your must-visit list.
