Residents of South Mississippi are car- ing and generous with their time and
resources. Although that spirit burns brightest during the holidays, it extends throughout the year as
we look for ways to give back and enrich the community.
For the fourth year, South Mississippi Living is pleased to present A Guide to Giving and Volunteering. Thanks to
our sponsors, there are feature stories about many of the area’s
non-profit organizations and a long list of charities. If you want
to reach out to a non-profit now or any time during the coming year,
this list has valuable information. We issue a challenge to buy one less
holiday gift and make a donation instead. Together we can make a difference.
