The Bacot McCarty Foundation stands behind its philosophy “Together we are Making a Difference,” and aims to serve the community and meet the needs of its members.
“Through our partnership with the IP, as well as the hundreds of philanthropic supporters we have, we hope
to continue to assist youth, education and cultural causes across our region the best ways we can,” said Executive Director Todd Trenchard. “It is through our incredible volunteer base, which is led by our unparalleled board, that we hope to contribute in making our entire region a better place to live.”
According to Trenchard, the organization has been blessed to play a part in bringing the entire community together under a common cause: to put youth and education first. “We believe the future holds great promise because we are focusing and developing our leaders of tomorrow.” said Trenchard.

YMCA, and the Duchess Club. Within these pages, you’ll find information on each group, sponsored by the Bacot McCarty Foundation.
“The charities we selected to feature all play such an important role and make such a profound effect in our communities,” Trenchard said. “Both the Duchess Club and the Home of Grace have become an indispensable asset in helping us, as well as other non-profits, present events. From the Jolly and Renaissance the Runway to the Special Olympics, it takes scores of volunteers to implement
these functions. We could never accomplish what we do without the participation and leadership of both of these organizations.”
The Bacot McCarty Foundation also has a close relationship with the Dream Program and YMCA as both offer programs that help so many people. “We have been long time supporters of each because of the incredible work they do,” Trenchard remarked.
