2One Book One Pass: Author Presentation

This event is the culmination of the
weeks long One Book One Pass program. Community members have been reading Jackson native Kiese Laymon’s bestselling memoir, Heavy: An American Memoir. Laymon will be doing a presentation on it. The memoir won the Andrew Carnagie Medal for Excellence in Nonfiction, was named one of the 50 Best Memoirs of the Past 50 Years by the New York Times, and more. The event is free and open to the public.
