Shopping is one of my absolute favorite activities and the Mississippi Gulf Coast does not disappoint when it comes to great small businesses. I’m giving y’all the run down on my top favs! Here are some of my favorite small shops:
Island Garden Shop, Gulfport
This place is such a great place to visit for all of your garden needs. They carry a wide variety of plants, gifts, and even, occasionally, some produce. I love just spending the morning walking around their greenhouse areas and discovering new plants.
Ocean Springs Mercantile,
Ocean Springs
Visiting the Ocean Springs Mercantile is a must do for me whenever I’m in OS. I love checking out all of their new items, as well as the items they’ve found that have some history. They have such a unique collection of things. I’m always able to find a great pair of earrings, or special coastal-themed items!
Fleurty Girl, Bay St. Louis
This place is so much fun! I love their unique take on Gulf Coast things and I always find some great gifts for people here, including a fun little Red Beans and Rice toy.

Southern Bound Bookshop
inside Century Antiques, D’Iberville.
I adore this little shop. Not only is it nestled in an antique store, it has such
a wide variety of books available. They also offer fun “blind date” books with the covers obscured – you dive into the story before judging a book by the cover.
Lee Tracy, Ocean Springs
This place has a great selection of women’s clothes for everybody, and their staff is so sweet and helpful! I’m also
a huge fan of all of their accessories. Whether you’re looking for a casual beach outfit or for something to wear for a night on the town, look no further.
