They say no person is an island. No one is entirely self-sufficient; we all need a little help throughout
our lives. Personal Care Services MidSouth is here to help when you or your loved one can no longer care for yourself the way you used to.
Personal Care Services is a non-medical home care business. They help their clients with activities of daily living. “Our goal is to help our clients stay independent as long as possible so as to delay or avoid a nursing institution,” says Managing Principal, Walter Black.
Personal Care Services has been in business for almost 12 years and has been serving the Mississippi Gulf Coast since 2019. They are headquartered in Covington, Tennessee, with four offices in Mississippi: Columbus, Meridian, Macon, and Gulfport. They are proud to have a strong presence in the Coastal veteran community.
Black believes that, as our society becomes faster paced, it’s good to know that there’s an agency out there that will slow down and take the time to ensure that you or your aging loved one will enjoy the most of their later years, all while maintaining your dignity and independence. “Most of our clients have lived long fruitful lives and they deserve the best assistance so they can age gracefully.”
It’s no secret that communities are aging, and that people are living longer than ever. “There are older Baby Boomers who are in their mid- 70s, and some of their parents are still alive,” Black describes. “We help bring peace of mind to these families. I love seeing the look of satisfaction on our clients’ faces after a job well done.”
The company has seen growth throughout the South, and Black attributes that to the excellent caregivers working for Personal Care Services. Seeing the team develop has been one of his favorite parts of the job. “Our caregivers are dedicated to helping our clients live a fuller life. We have a good team, a good staff, and we are excited about the direction we are going.”
