BOZO’S
Bozo’s is known throughout the United States and the world as one of the “must go places” for mouthwatering, fresh seafood and great poboys.
Bozo’s opened in 1956 and has become a major destination for locals and people from all walks of life. Not only is it a restaurant of choice for Gulf Coast
residents, it’s a favorite for people traveling the I-10 corridor. Bozo’s is also recognized across the globe with visitors from many
countries, including Japan, Australia, England, Norway, Sweden and Russia, coming to enjoy the great tasting food.
Owner Keith Delcambre is the grandson of E.J. “Bozo” Delcambre, founder of
Bozo’s, and is known locally as the “King of Craw sh.” “Bozo’s is a third-generation family business and I’m proud to say
that over its six decades of operation, the ambiance hasn’t changed; it still remains a small town, local seafood dive,” Keith said.
One of Bozo’s unique features is that all
of the food – whether it’s fried, or steamed
– is cooked to order. This “dive” has also gotten some national attention for its fried and steamed seafood and poboys. You can get everything at the fresh seafood market from Blue crabs, cat sh, snapper, trigger sh, speckled trout, salmon and ounder just to name a few and lets not forget about the shrimp.
