BAYOU CADDY OYSTER BAR
Plump oysters. Flavorful gumbo. Creamy seafood bisque. And lobster rolls featuring a generous portion
of sweet lobster cooked to perfection and served on a toasted buttered brioche bun. Are your taste buds asking for more? At the Bayou Caddy Oyster Bar at
Silver Slipper Casino Hotel, the choices are plentiful and the food is delicious.
The restaurant reopens this month, with many loyal guests already checking out the menu to nd
their favorites. The open exhibition-style kitchen allows guests sitting at the counter a front-row
view to watch as oysters are grilled on the open ames and the seafood bisque simmers in the
single-serve kettles.
Seafood lovers will delight in all the o erings,
including fresh and chargrilled oysters, jumbo shrimp cocktail and the smoked tuna salad. The savory seafood bisques can be made with shrimp, craw sh, lobster or oysters, or get a combination of three. The dish comes with steamed jasmine rice, which holds up wonderfully in the creamy sauce, and each ample serving is made fresh when ordered.
The house gumbo is also a must-have, and other popular dishes include the ribeye steak and lobster.
