appearance by Alexandra Bujan, a 12-year-old designer of Pass Christian, whose equally young and talented models wore fashions from her collection. A second emcee, Kristen Durand of WXXV, was also added to the program to assist emcee Rebecca Powers.
When asked about the success of the event, Bacot McCarty Foundation Executive Director Todd Trenchard said, “We accomplished exactly what we wanted to do. We raised tens
of thousands of dollars for
local causes and connected people in our community with local boutiques,
all while honoring local model citizens. For the third year, we were able to bring people from across the region together for a common purpose.”
Trenchard says the foundation’s expectations for the event’s third year were high. “We had seen continued growth and
