Thanksgiving is upon us; a time for celebrating our many blessings with friends and family. Traditionally, most Thanksgiving meals consist of turkey and dressing paired with savory sides, gravy, and — with any luck — some
pumpkin pie. While food is at the forefront of the holiday, the behind-the-scenes planning and preparation take time and energy. That’s why many restaurants are offering some ‘turn key’ meals and sides to help make things a little easier. Here are a few of the local businesses offering Thanksgiving dinner specials.
The Honey Baked Ham Company is obviously well-
known for its hams, but there’s more to them than that. In addition to honey baked spiral ham, they will offer whole turkey, which comes roasted, Cajun, or honey baked. Traditional sides and desserts are available, as are holiday meal combinations. The ‘Thanksgiving Dinner’ comes with ham, turkey, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and turkey gravy for 12 to 16 people for $125.95.

Fallon’s is offering meat, sides, squash casserole and desserts for Thanksgiving.
Meats such as hickory smoked turkey, fried turkey and smoked ham are $60.95 each. Traditional sides include cornbread dressing, green bean casserole and sweet potato casserole and more, and are $22.95 for a medium order (eight servings) and $32.95 for a large order (12 servings).

Cook’s Day Off is a full- service catering company
that will be offering homestyle holiday sides, appetizers, desserts, breakfast casseroles, homemade cranberry sauce and gravy. Thanksgiving items and casseroles range from $10 to $65.

Bayou Bluff Tennis Club is selling Thanksgiving entrees
and sides to go, including
bone-in spiral honey ham for $49, cornbread dressing and gravy for $28, green bean casserole for $27 and pecan pies for $15. The club is also offering a large selection of non-traditional holiday meals, including jambalaya, seafood gumbo and chicken spaghetti.
