Prior to Renaissance the Runway,
the foundation has hosted The Jolly,
their annual gala and golf tournament. The Jolly has been the Bacot McCarty Foundation’s most recognized event. “The Jolly is considered one of the most anticipated events of the year along the Coast,” said Rasmussen. “Hosting a fashion show is clearly different from a golf tournament, but that aspect made Renaissance the Runway that much more exciting. Having the opportunity to try something new was definitely fun for everyone at the foundation. We were able to reach out to an entirely new crowd, and in the end introduce more people to our focus of work.”
